with the Picot Stitches.

Stitch 44 –
Portuguese Border Stitch
This is a great border
stitch. I played around with it, adding beads and then thought my
white “wreath” had a lot of bare space.

couching over starting stitches |
I found a plastic circle
in the same colour as the blue yarn and couched the starting stitches
over the circle. When it was done it reminded me of a sun hat so
added some stringed beads to finish it off.
