Quilt #87
Black Magic
It's a king size Stack 'n Whack. Made in 1999, shortly after Bethany
S. Reynolds' book Magic Stack -n- Whack Quilts was published.
I
like the Zebra fabric, it made interesting blocks with lots of variety.

The
pattern is the Half-Square Triangle Magic from the book.

I used a couple of the blocks that did not make the cut for the front of the quilt ,added some triangles to make a pinwheel design for the back.
Black Magic - back
Those blocks also doubled as my label.  I stitched some information on the bottom of each block.

Borders and Zebra fabric
I
free motion quilted this quilt on my Husqvarna domestic sewing
machine. I quilted some of the designs in the stars and stippled the background using invisible nylon thread on
the top and black polyester on the back.

Have a nice day.
