Stitch 41 – Closed
Base Needlewoven Picot
I love what can be done
with the Picot Stitches.
closed base needlewoven picot |
Stitch 42 – Open Base
Needlewoven Picot
Time consuming but love
the results.

Stitch 43 – Magic
Chain
Confusing at first. Nice
outline stitch.

Stitch 44 –
Portuguese Border Stitch
This is a great border
stitch. I played around with it, adding beads and then thought my
white “wreath” had a lot of bare space.
couching over starting stitches |
I found a plastic circle
in the same colour as the blue yarn and couched the starting stitches
over the circle. When it was done it reminded me of a sun hat so
added some stringed beads to finish it off.

Gorgeous samplers again, love the sunflower!
So very pretty! I'm thinking those open and closed 'needle-woven picot' stitches are time-consuming! Well done!
these are lovely.
